Most of the official events, including two European Council meetings and meetings of the EU Council and working bodies, were held in Brussels.
The majority of the larger events taking place in Slovenia, i.e. the Informal Meetings of Ministers and Ministerial Conferences in particular, are organised at the conference centre at Brdo pri Kranju.
Larger major events during the Presidency, i.e. the EU-Latin America Summit, the EU and the Russian Federation Summit, the EU and Canada Summit, and the EU and Japan Summit were to be held in the respective countries. Only EU and the USA Summit was planned to be held in Slovenia.
